Long Island Photographer specializing in family, children, newborn, and maternity photos

Week 10’s theme was alternative light.  I was initially stumped.  What was I going to photograph?  But then my 4 year old son came into the bathroom, shut the door and the lights, and well, I couldn’t really move (if you know what I’m sayin’).  Then it hit me.  The light spilling in from the outside through the cracks.  PERFECT!  So, a minute or so later, I was grabbing my camera, and setting up a few long exposure shots.  These were taken with an exposure of 10-30 seconds.  One is the lights from my son’s turtle nightlight.  Another is a small green pen light and I drew a heart twice over.  The last one is the door with the light creeping in.  All three taken in my bathroom.
